Drew Crawford

Hobby coder turned network engineer. I've been emersed in the field for the past year but never clinched that coveted CCNA. This site is purely to focus my leaning but hopefully in a way to helps others also learn and grow.

Coding

I still work on coding projects but most now a days are just tools to help make my life a little easier. Might post a project or two here when there's time.

Networking

My day to day is all about networking now. I'll be posting my learnings here for my own reference and also to share with others. I'm going to be breaking down the current CCNA into sections and making my notes about each here.

Current CCNA Test Sections

The CCNA is extensive and covers many different areas of the networking world. Each section below will be a gateway to one of the six major sections of the test and my notes on each. My motivation for creating this section is to spell everything out in a way that follows the official CCNA topics list. I have found that many courses divide up their content in a way that might make sense to someone brand new to networking. While I don't disagree with their approach, I'm just not starting at that level. I'm here to learn the required content for the CCNA only so I can pass the test. If you're like me and you find the beginner material covers too much of what you already know, then hopefully we can learn together with some starting knowledge assumed.
